Official economic data published onchain

On 28 August 2025 the department began publishing GDP data on public blockchains, posting a hash of its second-quarter release to nine networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum One and Optimism. Through Chainlink, the Bureau of Economic Analysis's figures for real GDP, the PCE price index and real final sales to private domestic purchasers are carried on Ethereum and several of its layer 2s. The Ethereum feeds were last updated on 30 September 2026.
