Stablecoin payment acceptance

Stripe reopened crypto payments to US businesses in October 2024, letting them accept USDC on Ethereum, Solana and Polygon and receive dollars. Its documentation now lists USDC on Ethereum, Base, Solana, Polygon and Tempo, USDP on Ethereum and Solana, and USDG on Ethereum, with each payment settled to the business's Stripe balance in its local currency. Businesses in the United States can accept them, and those in the EU, Hong Kong, Mexico and Switzerland through a private preview.
