Stablecoin checkout payments

Shopify Payments has let merchants accept USDC since June 2025, built with Coinbase and Stripe and launched on Base. Shopify's help center now lists Base, Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum and Polygon as the networks customers can pay from, for stores in supported regions of North America and Europe and in Hong Kong. Merchants are paid in their local currency by default, or in some regions can take the USDC to their own wallet.
