Trust-type yen stablecoin (JPYSC)
JPYSC is Japan's first trust-type yen stablecoin, an electronic payment instrument under the Payment Services Act, issued by SBI Shinsei Trust Bank, developed with Startale Group and distributed by SBI VC Trade. The first ¥10 billion was minted on Ethereum on 24 June 2026, and SBI VC Trade names Ethereum as the only network it supports for the coin. For now it can be held only inside SBI VC Trade accounts and cannot be withdrawn to outside wallets until Japan's legal and tax treatment of public circulation is settled.
