ETH staking for retail clients
PostFinance, the Swiss Post's bank, opened ETH staking to its customers on 16 January 2025 in e-finance and the PostFinance App, from a minimum of 0.1 ETH, and called itself the first systemically important bank to offer it. It works with Sygnum, the FINMA-regulated digital asset bank with which it opened crypto trading and custody to its customers in February 2024, and stakes natively on Ethereum, with rewards shown in the customer's crypto portfolio. Its staking page on 7 October 2026 still offered ETH as the only coin that can be staked, for a fee of 20% of rewards. This is staking of ETH itself, not tokenization.
