ETH custody and trading for retail customers in Türkiye (Garanti BBVA Kripto)

Garanti BBVA set up Garanti BBVA Kripto in July 2023 and keeps its customers' keys on Ripple Custody and IBM technology. Forbes Türkiye reported that it held crypto for customers for six months, tested trading from January 2024 and opened bitcoin and ETH trading to all its customers from June 2024, when BBVA said custody was open to every customer of the Garanti BBVA Kripto app. This is custody of ETH itself, not tokenization.
