Digital bond
The European Investment Bank issued a two-year digital bond registered on public Ethereum in April 2021, with Goldman Sachs, Santander and Société Générale as joint lead managers. The underwriters settled in an experimental central bank digital currency provided by Banque de France. The bond matured on 28 April 2023.
