ETH custody and trading for corporate clients
Commerzbank has offered selected corporate clients in Germany custody and trading of bitcoin and ETH since 19 September 2024. Commerzbank keeps the coins in custody itself, under the crypto custody license BaFin granted it in November 2023, which made it the first German universal bank to hold one. Crypto Finance, part of Deutsche Börse Group, executes the trades. This is custody of ETH itself, not tokenization.
