Staking of Canadian spot ETH ETF holdings
CI Galaxy Ethereum ETF (TSX: ETHX) began staking on or about 27 August 2025, after its unitholders approved it on 20 August. CI Global Asset Management set aside up to half of the fund's ETH for staking at the start, and Galaxy Digital is the fund's sub-adviser.
