Tokenized UCITS money market fund share classes
On 4 August 2026 BlackRock launched 12 tokenized share classes across six of its Institutional Cash Series money market funds, in euro, sterling and US dollar, minted on Ethereum. Kinexys by J.P. Morgan mints and burns the tokens and links onchain activity to the funds' transfer agent, which keeps the official shareholder register. BlackRock has not published how much is held in tokenized form.
